We are located a 5 minute drive from Main St. Highlands on Dillard Road. We are also the closest modern accommodation to The Farm at Old Edwards wedding venue.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire unit and the grounds. Please note this is one unit in a duplex.

Good to know

This unit is a one bedroom, one bathroom with a kitchenette and is on the front of the cabin. Our kitchenette offers a French press, electric kettle, and milk frother to start your day off right, as well as a toaster oven and electric skillet to eat breakfast in bed. So that your toes never get cold, the unit has heated tile floors through out and a Malm fireplace to snuggle in front of. The king sized Tuft and Needle bed is covered in the softest 100% cotton sheets and duvet. Pillows have been selected to give options so you can find the perfect pillow. Lunori was crafted to allow our guests to slow down, enjoying the simpler things that the mountains offer. While the crazy day to day of our lives keeps us always connected with little patience, the mountains give us a chance to take a breath. For this reason we have stocked the unit’s bookshelf with a curated collection of books, games, and bluetooth speaker. We offer wifi internet but we do not offer TVs or microwaves, simply because in the mountains you have time! We offer a communal firepit, charcoal grill, picnic area, and hammock. The communal area is shared with all 4 of our units.

Other Details to Note

This is a private unit in a duplex. There are two hotel style locked off connecting doors between units which enable the duplex to be rented as one 2 suite cabin. If you would like to rent both units, please contact us. Please note that the 2 guest limit applies to children and infants as well. We are family-friendly in our Treehouse building, Lofts 3 and 4. As a courtesy to guests in our other units and neighbors, the communal area (fire pit and picnic area) closes promptly at 10pm nightly and is restricted to guest use only. As stated above, we do not have televisions. We recommend bringing a laptop or tablet if you'd like to watch a movie. Please note that early check in requests are confirmed 24 hours prior check in. We love our pets too, but we do have a strict no pet policy at this time. Unfortunately we cannot consider any animals (trained, hypoallergenic, etc.) to stay in the garden lofts. We do accept dogs in our Treehouse building, Lofts 3 & 4. The cabin is located in a wooded area but due to our proximity to town, some neighboring homes can be seen from the property. Please note the unit has a wood burning fireplace. If you have sensitivities, we would suggest renting loft 3 or 4 which both have gas fireplaces.

I absolutely loved staying here! This spot is so peaceful, quiet…and stylish! The drive into downtown Highlands is very short, so even though you can’t walk downtown it still feels very close to everything. I would love to stay here again.

This place was exactly what I needed to reset, relax, and find some clarity. The thoughtful design creates such a peaceful atmosphere. I loved starting each morning with French press coffee, staring up at the trees from the outside patio and inside from the comfy couch downstairs. No TV was perfect for truly disconnecting and slowing down. After going into town to grab a bite to eat and explore, I spent evenings at the loft reading/writing while listening to the tree frogs. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby. (I checked out Glen Falls). Annie was an amazing, thoughtful host, and was very fast to respond to any questions I had. I had some of the best sleep in years. The location offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience to Highlands, Cashiers, and a short road trip to the Smoky Mountains. This stay genuinely helped me relax and gain much-needed perspective. I will definitely be back! Thank you Annie!

We had a wonderful stay here! As soon as you pull onto the property you feel transported to a quite, beautifully designed oasis amongst the trees. The location was great- 5 minute drive into town. The layout and design of the property feels so perfect. I hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay at Lunori reading books by the fireplace and exploring Highlands. Very close (driving distance) from downtown’s coffee shop, restaurants and cute shops. Great central location for hiking and exploring nearby towns. The loft is impeccable and super comfortable for two people.

Fantastic spot in Highlands, with the perfect blend of "kind of camping" and close to the main street area. Wifi was great for what we needed and stable enough to stream when we wanted to watch a late night movie. Space was very clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. Loved it for a long weekend trip!

Five stars all around! We will not hesitate to book here again. First off, Annie was SO easy to work with; very responsive. Secondly, her cabin is gorgeous! I felt transported to a far-off Nordic dream :) Thirdly (is that a word?) and beyond... Here comes a quick list of what we loved... The real, wood burning fireplace was a blast (plus the freestanding, mid-century modern look of the fireplace was very cool). If you are looking forward to building a fire, bring your own wood or purchase from Bryson's Food Store (roughly $6/bundle). No TV helped my wife and I unplug and reconnect over conversation. You are literally a 5-minute drive to downtown Highlands - what more can you ask for. The cabin is trendy and modern looking - very inspiring. Love the curated books. I actually ended up getting lost in one of the coffee table books for about an hour. Bed was big and cozy. Loft is a fun vibe. Way to go, Annie, Lunori rocks!
